What changed: CCSE and DELE A2 fees, dates and rules for Spanish nationality

Checked on .

This is the public change log for the figures and rules CiviqPass quotes about the Spanish nationality exams and the application fee. Each row gives the value now and, where there was one, the value before, the official source and the day we read it. In the Spain row of the Instituto Cervantes DELE price tables one price changed between 2025 and 2026: the DELE A2 went from €134 to €138. The application fee (€104.05) and the CCSE fee (€85) are the same in every copy we read.

CCSE manual

The Instituto Cervantes publishes a new CCSE manual each year with the list of questions the tests draw from.

The 2026 manual applies to the tests from January 2026, with 25% of the questions renewed compared with 2025 (copy of 8 February 2026): “se ha renovado un 25 % de preguntas con respecto a las de 2025”.

On 23 October 2026 the Instituto's exam website (examenes.cervantes.es) showed only a maintenance page with exam dates, no manual, so we cannot say whether a 2027 manual is out. We add a row when we read one. CiviqPass does not copy the manual: its questions are written from public texts.

How we keep this log

  1. We re-read the official pages behind our guides once a month, and sooner when a rule changes.
  2. When a figure or a rule differs from what a page of ours says, we correct the page and add a row here with the value before, the value now and the source.
  3. When nothing changed we write “No change since” and the date of the oldest copy we compared.
  4. When an official site cannot be opened we read the copy the Internet Archive kept, say so in the row and give the copy's date.

What this log does not cover

It covers the exam fees, the application fee, the CCSE manual, the exam dates and the three legal texts behind the exam rules. Fees of consulates and of the offices that issue documents in other countries are on each country's page, with their own read date.

Where the figures are used

The fee page: what the file costs. The dates page: CCSE and DELE in 2026. How we write and check the pages: methodology. The statements behind the guides: open data.
